Genealogy Software with Web Output
Just as word-processors and other applications now include Web authoring facilities, so general genealogy packages can increasingly be used to create Web pages for genealogical information as an essential option. The latest versions of the following genealogy packages have Web publishing facilities:[1]

- Generations (no home page)

- The Master Genealogist
- Personal Ancestral File
- Relatively Yours
- Reunion (Macintosh)
- Win-Family
Exactly what these packages produce in the way of Web pages is very variable.
And it should not be assumed that these programs will make other approaches redundant, since some can deal only with material for the descendants and/or ancestors of a particular individual and not the entire database.
[1] Please let me know if there any other programs that should be added to this list. I have deliberately excluded Family Tree Maker because it creates page which can only be uploaded to the FTM site.
